About Our 501(c)(3) Status

Crossroads Rotary Club is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to volunteerism and improving our communities in Kitsap County of Washington State. As a tax-exempt entity, we are required to comply with certain IRS regulations and provide transparency through annual reporting. Below, you will find information about our IRS forms and annual reports.

IRS Forms

IRS Form 990

The IRS Form 990 is an annual information return required to be filed by most organizations exempt from income tax under section 501(a). It provides information on the filing organization's mission, programs, and finances.

  • Form 990-N: For organizations with gross receipts less than $50,000.

  • Form 990-EZ: For organizations with gross receipts less than $200,000 and total assets less than $500,000.

  • Form 990: For organizations with gross receipts greater than $200,000 or total assets greater than $500,000.

This does not apply to Crossroads Rotary Club as our gross receipts are under $50,000.

The IRS Determination Letter is a letter from the IRS to a nonprofit organization that officially recognizes its tax-exempt status.
